You can't, and hopefully you never will be able to either.

What purpose would a couch serve? Are you going to recline on it? Guild Halls are meeting places/strongholds, not a house of relaxation.

dunn0 just it would be fun for when ur bored of fighting or somthing u can just play around or admire ur houwsehold ... dunno i just like fun things that add up to nothing but mmake u enjoy the scenary. it would be cool to sit on a chair though lol

ALso the guild hall seems sorta lame alone it jsut a giant castle looking thing all u do is walk arouhnd in it,,, there should more to do in it since all u can do is meet and doing a team vs team guild battle and the only guild battles i got to do were dfending and attackinbg the same type of base... there really should be more to do in the guild halls

If you're bored to the point of admiring furnishings, maybe it's time to get off the game for a while.

Carpets and banners on the walls would be nice, but anything like vast paintings for admiring is pointless.

Well, you're not going to be in your guild hall all that much, unless your fighting of course. I guess if your into roleplaying and such, a couch and a rug would intrigue you, but its pretty much pointless to people more concentrated on playing the game instead of just being in it. Even if a furniture existed in your guild hall, it would be removed for all battles, so again, unless your just in your guild hall for no apparent reason, furniture is worthless. However, there is the ever popular "pile couches in the doorway" strat that all the top guilds use...

Did you make that, DatD? Because I've been saying the same for a half year now whenever this "suggestion" is made.

Nice to have a simpler response now. *downloads*

Not really "made". I grabbed a boxshot on amazon.com and added some text. I figured such a picture has more than one usage.

I dont know, I like the idea of having a physical building to yourself, maybe not a guild hall, but say a house, so instead of having to carry your stuff all the time, you could store stuff, I'm not really dwelling on having furniture to stare at, but a house that you pick out the location and build would be really cool. Kind of like in Ultima, a few of my other friends still play it, thats one of the things about the game I do like.

I for one am one that is actually requesting customization options for guild halls. I'd like to be able to customize my guild hall (of course current guild halls aren't really halls but more like guild gardens. If they ever create true guild halls with rooms, etc... I'd like to see customization options such as EQ2 has for player rooms.

Currently they're not talking of offering these, but I'd sure love to see them.

False. The second part contradicts the first. Unless you prefer holding meetings in uncomfortable places.

DATD: Being able to graphically illustrate your cluelessness doesn't make you any less clueless.

maybe you could use a strategically placed sofa to barricade invaders, or distract them with your tartan coloring scheme!

Hardly infinte. Indeed, the amount of wisdom possessed by your average man is enough to recognize what you posted is silly. For example:

For those who oppose guild hall customizations:

Tada! An equally silly waste of bandwidth! Now that we've proved we can both act clueless, let's both stop pretending to be idiots.

Hi, there,

The upgrades and "furnishings" for guild halls haven't really been gone into yet. We imagine there will be a lot of options for guilds, maybe even seasonal elements that a guild could use to upgrade a guild hall. We're excited about the options, particularly when you think of cool things like moose heads over the hearth.

Seasonal, eh? I wonder how a Christmas tree will look in the middle of a crumbling hall on the Isle of The Dead.

Customizing the Guild Hall is an excellent idea. I hope the developers consider allowing the guild to add functional rooms such as a personel Guild Dungeon or a private market. Instead of purely asthetic customizations, additions which serve a purpose will add greatly to the feeling of being part of a small community rather than a simple member.
